“Uncertainty doesn’t mean you know zero. Uncertainty just means you may know 80%, you may know 90%. So I think we’re too quick to freak out and say, “Well, if I’m not certain, therefore I know nothing….So I would say get curious about uncertainty. Stop freaking out about it because everything given to you is really here for your growth. It’s just how are you going to make the most out of it? …You probably know a lot more than you think you do, or you can get the answer….”
Jessica Li on Electric Ladies Podcast
We are surrounded by uncertainty today, from AI to climate change to political, cultural and economic upheaval. How can we manage this much uncertainty?
Listen to Jessic Li, managing partner of Align Experience, high performance coach and investor in this enlightening conversation with Electric Ladies Podcast host Joan Michelson.
You’ll hear about:
- How she suggests we look at uncertainty, including how to respond to it.
- How we can make a difference in our daily lives, not just in big ways.
- What AI cannot replace, what makes us human and how being human is a competitive advantage.
- Plus, career advice, such as:
“Do a SWOT on yourself. What are your strengths? And then also what are opportunities or what are things that you lose time doing? … Your job in life is to maximize your strengths and what you’re good at and minimize your weaknesses….Whatever skillset you have, you can apply it to many different industries…What industries can I apply it to that I would enjoy applying it to?… What industries would give me the lifestyle that I want? And lifestyle is not just money. Lifestyle is also time….So I’m always like, be very clear what your ideal dream life look like in terms of how you wake up, how you spend your time, what you get to do with it, and then build a living around it.” Jessica Li on Electric Ladies Podcast
